It acts as the unified voice of the medical technology industry, advocating for advancements in medical science, education, and innovation while prioritizing patient safety and ethical business practices. The association collaborates with healthcare officials, governments, payers, providers, and patient groups to promote value-based care and enhance patient access to the latest medical technologies. Mecomed emphasizes compliance through a mandatory Code of Ethical Business Practice for its members and engages in regulatory policy development and capacity building. It supports over 50 member companies by facilitating collaboration, providing training on ethical standards, and publishing guidelines to ensure transparent interactions within the healthcare sector.
