Founded in October 2000, Medifine began in Seoul by CEO Kwonyong Lee. He used his entrepreneurial skill to position Medifine as the exclusive distributor of some advanced healthcare companies. With that success, he was able to move Medifine to Hanam City where the company has expanded into areas of Gynecology, Urology, General Surgery, Colorectal, Upper GI, and Thoracic Surgery. With its large storage facility, Medifine provides innovative medical equipment to these traditional medical fields. To compete in a niche market, Medifine has moved beyond distribution and has developed its own products, launching trocar accessories in 2018. Today, the company does continuous research and development to frequently provide better products to surgeons throughout Korea. Currently, Medifine's products are sold in Korea and continues to build its market influence in both Asian and Global markets.
