Medi'nov Spain

Medi'Nov Connection, the key Medtech event in the healthcare ecosystem, organised every year in Lyon, is launching its first session in Spain: Medi'Nov Connection Spain in partnership with the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The aim is to highlight the potential of the Medtech ecosystem in Spain, and more specifically around Barcelona. As the fourth largest healthcare market in Europe and the leading country for the development of clinical trials, Spain has implemented a massive investment plan in healthcare to meet the country's needs and cope with growing demand for technological solutions and innovations (under-equipped hospitals, development of telemedicine, etc.). Catalonia, a centre of innovation in life sciences, is home to leading medical technology companies and institutions. Its dynamic ecosystem, particularly focused on digital innovations in healthcare, is home to a growing number of start-ups and high-performance R&D centres. As with the Lyon event, Medi'Nov Connection Spain will be staging a trade fair, conference and innovation competition showcasing medical device start-ups.
