Das eHealth-Start-Up wurde 2017 von den Gründern Thomas Prokopp, Paul Bandi und Frank Willems initiiert. Die Medipee entwickelt ein App gesteuertes System zur berührungslosen Urinanalyse für handelsübliche Toiletten, mittels einer Plug and Play Lösung. Die App und das Gerät sind bereits als Medizinprodukt zugelassen und das Unternehmen nach DIN/ISO 13485 zertifiziert. Die Gesellschaft verfügt über mehrere Patentfamilien und das System kann universell eingesetzt werden. Mittels moderner Analysemethoden wie künstliche Intelligenz können zukünftige Krankheiten perspektivisch früher detektiert werden.
