MedTech Innovation + Entrepreneurship @ UNC & NC State is an 11-month professional Master’s program offered by the Lampe Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University. This program is tailored for students who aspire to lead early-stage biomedical ventures or enhance product development in the healthcare sector, particularly in medical devices and related technologies. The curriculum provides a thorough education in medical device innovation, covering the entire product development lifecycle. Students learn to identify clinical needs, design and prototype solutions, navigate regulatory processes, and develop commercialization strategies. The program includes clinical immersion, allowing students to gain practical experience in hospitals and clinics, and offers mentorship from industry professionals.
