1. Who is behind MEON?
MEON was founded in 2013 and has grown fast since then. We are a company working in the IVD sector, developing new and innovative solutions for the laboratory of tomorrow. Today there is a team of 40 specialists with deep experience in IVD. The majority of our team members have a background from Roche Diagnostics and AVL medical. Deep experience combined with the spirit of a young dynamic company can be found at MEON.
2. Why are we good at what we do?
Our greatest asset is the heterogeneity of our team including specialists from many different fields like management, natural sciences, system development and mechanical, electronical and SW design, working together. This special setup enables interdisciplinary problem solving across a broad range of expertise. Furthermore, having a team with track records of developing several global IVD products, gives us the experience and credibility to combine deep expertise with innovative development spirit.
3. What motivates us?
We want to support healthcare specialist to come up with fast and accurate diagnoses to deliver the best outcome for their patients and make their work easier. Further, we want to make a valuable contribution to the healthcare system, by providing superior and cost-efficient solutions.

4. How do we work?
Our company is located in Graz, Austria, and is embedded in the ZWT (Center for technology and knowledge transfer). The building is located on the campus of the Medical University and hosts 14 other lifescience companies. A close cooperation with the university clinic is part of the daily life and it´s the right setting for collaboration between industry and research.
We have small teams with flat hierarchies and interdisciplinary collaboration combined with a strong hands-on mentality and short decision paths.
