Micromedic's CellDetect® is an innovative diagnostic platform targeting multiple cancer applications. It is the only histochemical stain allowing color discrimination alongside morphological examination for differentiation between normal and cancer cells. It works with any specimen preparation platform including liquid-based cytology and conventional smears, while utilizing standard processes routinely used in pathology labs. CellDetect® technology has the potential to enhance digital pathology by combining color and morphology. CellDetect® Bladder cancer test combines high-performance, familiar workflow and cost effectiveness, a combination not found in any other bladder cancer test. Clinical studies have demonstrated high performance of CellDetect® for bladder cancer detection with high sensitivity for early stage tumors which are often missed by existing non-invasive tests.
