Mobile-Sensing's principal objective is to improve everybody's quality of life by providing affordable, mobile access to monitor, screen, diagnose and analyze medical conditions using today's and future technologies. Having actively contributed to advances in medical devices from large, expensive stand-alone systems to today's much smaller, simpler to use and more reliable equipment, we see the advent of universally accessible, portable devices as a natural development. Sensors and transducers, from nano-sized detection devices designed to react with specific compounds or molecules to wearable physiological sensors, transmit data to smart phones and other intelligent or cloud-based mobile devices. These new combinations of small dedicated hardware with sophisticated virtual systems provide instant health information to patients and allow medical personal to diagnose and analyze remotely and under real-life conditions. We pay special attention to make healthcare affordable and accessible to anybody, anywhere and at anytime through wireless, mobile medical technology.
