The ability of the body to regain its motor skills after a trauma depends on a process called "neuroplasticity", in which rewiring between the neurons in the brain and the spinal cord evolve and re-create the map of the nervous system responsible for such skills. This process requires extensive repetitive exercises by the user, which are tedious and boring.
