NanoClosure is a young and innovative company with the mission to develop, manufacture and market innovative tissue fusion products for surgical use. Tissues are fused based on laser induced thermal denaturation of protein in a tissue soldering scaffold which results in a physical connection of the tissues. The company is currently working in two different soldering techniques. The goal is to replace standard microsuturing which will revolutionize the minimal invasive surgery with immediate benefits to physicians and patients alike.
