The National Health Factory (NHF) is a government-affiliated medical manufacturing company located in Baghdad, Iraq. Established on January 29, 2020, under the Directorate of Popular Medical Clinics of the Iraqi Ministry of Health, NHF began operations on June 1, 2021. The company was created to address the urgent need for high-quality medical supplies during the COVID-19 pandemic. NHF operates on a large industrial site of 25,000 m², with dedicated areas for production, administration, and storage. The factory produces a wide range of disinfectants, antiseptics, dialysis solutions, sterilizers, and medical textiles, all adhering to international quality standards. The company sources raw materials from top global suppliers and employs skilled professionals to ensure rigorous testing throughout the manufacturing process. NHF primarily serves the Iraqi Ministry of Health and both public and private healthcare institutions, aiming to prevent shortages of essential medical supplies in Iraq. Additionally, NHF collaborates with healthcare providers, government agencies, and academic organizations to enhance innovation and product development, contributing significantly to Iraq’s healthcare infrastructure.
