Nippon Sigmax was established in June 1973 in Japan. At Nippon Sigmax, we deal with development, design, manufacture, sales and import primarily of orthopedic medical devices and products, such as casting, rigid braces, supports, DVT prevention products and cold therapy products. We also develop, design, manufacture, sell and import/export supports & braces, icing products and insoles for sports. In Japan, which is well known for its' aging society, there is a need to extend healthy life expectancy in every environment. As a business that supports physical activity, we play a role by encouraging healthy exercise habits to address this issue. We do this through our three core businesses: - Medical Business: helping customers recover from injuries, disabilities, and diseases to their daily lives - Sports Business: keeping customers in good shape by helping prevent injuries and recurrences of injuries in sports activities, and improving performance - Wellness Business: providing support and care for issues in the locomotor system in daily lives Our headquarters are located in Tokyo, Japan, and we also have branches all over the country. Our overseas offices: Sigmax America Inc. is located in California, US. Sigmax (Huzhou) Medical Co., Ltd. is our affiliate in China.
