Oncological probe Onco Scanner is an innovative solution enabling intraoperative recognition of collected tissues, especially during surgical procedures to remove breast cancer. Our oncology probe has been clinically examined several times on several hundred patients. The research has shown that its application enables correct identification of cancer tissues. Sensitivity and specificity were 93% and 87% respectively (193 samples taken from 70 patients). We showed that we created a precise and easy to use device for intraoperative breast cancer localization.
