OpenCell AI is leveraging the latest advances in computer vision and machine learning to develop commercial software that can screen all clinical microscopy data and automatically assign a preliminary diagnosis amongst a roster of validated diseases, like Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia. Our software can be deployed by hospitals to screen all microscopy samples at a low cost, in order to detect diseases earlier and improve patient outcomes. This screening can, for example, help prioritize the review of samples by a pathologist, thereby allowing for much faster diagnosis and life-saving interventions. This technology can also be deployed for stopgap diagnosis in places where pathologists are inaccessible, such as in rural areas or developing countries.
