ORTHOAID

Orthoaid was founded in 1991. by Nenad Vulovic BPharm, who is nowadays 100% owner and CEO. In that period, Orthoaid was primarily oriented on drugs supply through its own pharmacies and wholesale. In late nineties, department for orthopedic products development was established in order to have auxiliary field. During years, production of custom-made devices and silicon orthopedic products have covered 50% of Orthoaid turnover. As an exclusive of Orfit industries (Belgium) manufacturer of thermoplastic materials for rehabilitation and radiotherapy, Orthoaid get in radiotherapy market very soon. Gradually, Orthoaid became distributor of reeputable companies, involved in radiotherapy like: Orfit (Belgium), Ashland (USA), CRAD (Sweden), SIT (Italy), Xstrahl (USA), CIRS (USA), Sun Nuclear (distributorship have not been prolonged). As it could be seen, the efforts have been made to avoid focus on one field only, on the contrary to be involved in 2 sectors of health care at the least. Nowadays, Orthoaid with 17 employees is proud of the fact that number of employees have been almost the same since nineties implying: good elasticity of human resources and good management. Despite tendency about stability of the company, increase of turnover (expected to be 1,5M euros in 2018) and profit have been observed in last 2 years, owing to the growth of sale of orthopedic implants. The premises of Orthoaid are located on 2 places: Headquarter and orthopedic manufacture -near to Clinical Center of Serbia Wholesale - 20 minutes' drive from Headquarter, near Drug Agency
