P-POD® is the first in plagiocephaly treatment that can be done by a medical professional right in their office. The cranial remolding helmet can be fitted and molded in 30 minutes by a pediatrician, physical therapist, occupational therapist, or other health care provider. The Fiomet P-POD Helmet is a cranial orthotic device that applies static and gentle pressure to prominent regions of an infant's cranium in order to improve cranial symmetry and/or shape in infants from 4 to 18 months of age. No scanning, no referrals, no waiting. The complete process happens at the point of care, allowing families to begin treatment immediately, speeding healing time. Helmets can be fabricated in less than 30 minutes.
