PAMDRAP stands for Philippine Association of Medical Device Regulatory Affairs Professionals. It is a non-stock and non-profit association composed of regulatory affairs professionals representing medical device companies. It is recognized by the Center for Device Regulation, Radiation Health and Research.
PAMDRAP is a spin-off of the Medical Device Task Force of the Philippine Association of Pharmacists in the Pharmaceutical Industry (PAPPI). The association was registered and incorporated with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission in September 8, 2011.
On September 12, 2012, PAMDRAP signed the Memorandum of Understanding with other Medical Device Industry Associations in the Southeast Asia Region to form the group now known as the ASEAN Federation of Medical Device Industry (ASEANMed).
