At Pasonica, we are developing a groundbreaking technology that combines Ultrasound pressure waves and hyperspectral imaging to revolutionise blood chemical characterisation. Our device utilises ultrasound transducers that produce and send pressure waves through the upper arm Brachial Artery. These waves interact with the different elements present in the patient's blood, creating a highly accurate 3D analytical data representation. Nonetheless, that's not all. We further incorporate hyperspectral imaging technology, traditionally used in aerospace and military applications; now, we are using this technology to identify and quantify components in human blood. This enables us to detect subtle differences and identify molecules with precise spectral signatures. Hyperspectral imaging can identify and measure essential blood components such as haemoglobin, oxygen saturation, glucose, etc. This advanced technology allows us to analyse standard blood chemistry and detect pathological components like bacteria or virus cells. It empowers us to determine the presence or absence of specific biomarkers and assess their concentration distributions. The benefits of hyperspectral imaging are immense. It can detect cellular changes, identify biomarkers of disorders, and even detect drugs or toxins. Furthermore, the technology enables us to measure the concentration of proteins in the blood, which is vital for diagnosing and monitoring various conditions such as cancer, diabetes, and heart disease.
