PathKeeper

PathKeeper Surgical is an Israeli medical technology company founded in 2018 by Erez Lampert, a 3D medical imaging expert, with guidance from Dr. Josh Schroeder, a spinal deformity specialist. The company focuses on developing advanced surgical navigation systems to enhance outcomes in spine surgery. Their flagship product, the PathKeeper navigation system, is a 3D optical navigation tool that received FDA 510(k) clearance in 2023. This system uses a proprietary camera and artificial intelligence software to provide real-time, radiation-free navigation during spinal surgeries. It aims to improve surgical precision, reduce radiation exposure, and enhance workflow efficiency, making it suitable for smaller hospitals and surgical centers. PathKeeper's technology helps surgeons maintain the correct surgical path, significantly reducing screw placement errors compared to traditional techniques. The company targets hospitals, surgery centers, and healthcare providers in the spine and orthopedic surgery fields, collaborating with leading orthopedic surgeons to refine its platform and expand its reach.
