Pedasys

Pedasys is an Iranian company established in 2013 by researchers from Tehran University and Sharif University of Technology. It specializes in designing and manufacturing advanced robotic equipment, particularly lower-body exoskeleton robots. Pedasys is recognized as the first and only manufacturer of such robots in the Middle East, with its flagship product, Exoped, aimed at assisting individuals with lower limb disabilities, the elderly, athletes, and those in physically demanding jobs. The Exoped robotic exoskeleton enhances mobility and has received approval from Iran’s Health Ministry. It complies with ISO 13485 international medical device standards and has won accolades, including first place at KANZ2018 among numerous competitors. Pedasys focuses on providing cost-effective solutions, aiming to offer its technology at significantly lower prices than similar products from American, European, or Japanese manufacturers. The company is committed to improving mobility and rehabilitation outcomes for its users and plans to expand its market reach through future funding initiatives.
