During the five years I spent as my father-in-law's primary caregiver, I was frustrated by the lack of affordable, well-designed bathroom products that could have made the bathing and toileting process easier both for me and for "Papa." I made the first PeriChair out of all the bathroom equipment I had to buy for him plus some spare parts from the basement. "Papa" was a proud man–a retired Chicago Police officer, U.S. Marshall, and veteran of the Korean War. PeriChair is dedicated to "Papa" and the nearly 20 million people over the age of 75 who need care at home. PeriChair is more than just an American-made product designed to make the bathroom safer.
