PQM is a new manufacturing facility based in Jackson, Ohio, built to bring back critical manufacturing jobs back to the American shores. Our 23,000 sq.ft facility is built to help address the critical shortages of PPE we face in our communities with the goal to create a reliable domestic supply chain of product that has been traditionally owned by overseas supply chains. Our first product line, the PQM FreedomAir Civilian Grade masks will be made available to the market in Q4 2020.
The pandemic has exposed the severe lack of local manufacturing capabilities in North America, particularly as it relates to critical medical supplies and PPE. While there has been unprecedented demand, the supply chain is grossly incapable of fulfilling even a fraction of the necessary materials as the world still relies on Far East supply (70% of EU Face & Nose PPE, 71% of the same PPE in the US [according to Official Journal of EU 2020]). This has created both national security issues and real-world economic pain – as governments, companies and organizations are both unable and/or unwilling to meet current foreign manufacturer pricing and payment term demands that are operating way outside traditional norms.
PQM Solution: Decreasing the reliance on foreign made product by securing local manufacturing of PPE and high demand medical supplies. PQM is a company with combined experience over 100+ years in manufacturing, quality control and supply chain. We have put in strict measures to create value economically, politically and socially for our local, regional and national community.
PQM is positioned to help solve the supply chain inefficiencies and we are now taking orders for up to 6 Million masks per month with plans to expand to 20M+ in early 2021.
PQM’s goal is to alleviate some of the supply chain pressure and to start the process of bringing the PPE manufacturing business back to North America.
