We are able to measure the vascular age and Pulse Wave Velocity in under a minute by standing on a medical scale. Pulse Wave Velocity (PWV) is the gold standard for arterial stiffness assessment. Arterial stiffness is an independent risk factor for predicting cardiac risk. It has historically been a value that is difficult to measure and required complicated operator dependent tools. PhyioWave has developed a patented technology to rapidly and easily get the information. This technology has been approved by the FDA. Pulse Wave Velocity is an important measure of health for individuals with cardiovascular disease, renal disease, hypertension and congestive heart failure.
