About
Project Inspiration is a non-profit team consisting of professors and students at Delft University of Technology. The project was started by Dr. ir. Gerwin Smit in collaboration with several PhD-students and professors. In close collaboration with national museum "Boerhaave" an original East-Radcliffe ventilator was disassembled and used as an inspiration for a solution to the growing global shortage of ventilators. Today an interdisciplinary team of 30 people is working on the machine while being advised by doctors and medical reservists.
