Project MARCH

Project MARCH is a non-profit student team at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in the Netherlands. The team focuses on designing and building advanced exoskeletons to improve the quality of life for individuals with paraplegia. Each year, a new group of students dedicates themselves to developing a user-friendly motorized robotic suit that enables people with spinal cord injuries to stand and walk, addressing significant mobility challenges. Located in the Dream Hall on the TU Delft campus, Project MARCH fosters collaboration among students from various academic backgrounds. The project emphasizes mechanical and electrical integration, ensuring that each new team builds on the previous year's work through thorough documentation and a smooth handover. Their core service involves the research, design, and construction of exoskeletons that assist individuals with lower-limb paralysis, incorporating advanced motor controllers and mechanical structures to optimize performance. By developing these innovative exoskeletons, Project MARCH aims to enhance the independence and quality of life for its primary beneficiaries—individuals with spinal cord injuries.
