With the rapid development of literacy, purchasing power, and awareness of health more and more people are willing to have better medical services than a decade before. Although there is a mushrooming of health clinics and facilities, proper diagnosis of diseases is a far cry. Two aspects are responsible for it: unreliable and faulty devices and unskilled and semiskilled technicians. PHL will address the first by manufacturing reliable devices and second by training the technicians. When patients will have a proper diagnosis of diseases, the doctors will be able to intervene on an objective basis for remedial measures. These, when implemented in Bangladesh made a rush for medical care aboard could be arrested which would reduce pressure on foreign currency reserve. To materialize this goal the company has joint venture agreements and manufacturing facilities with leading companies in this field located in China, Korea, Malaysia, and Singapore. The company has started its journey with a few products that are small but high in sophistication. The products are- CSSD, Radiology & Imaging, laboratory equipment, etc. With the passage of time and the expansion of capacity of skill, the company will manufacture capital and technology-intensive devices. PHL, although started in 2016 has been able to establish its name as a high-end medical device manufacturer in Bangladesh. It has a growing overseas market that will multiply as the company's skills, capacity, and collaborations with leading global manufacturers will be a reality.
