RefloDx, Inc. is a medical device startup that spun out of the University of Utah with a mission to provide better health through smarter science. SondeFlux uses noninvasive ultrasound to detect and differentiate material in the upper esophagus, allowing clinicians to assess a patient's risk of aspiration from extraesophageal reflux (EER). SondeFlux allows clinicians and caregivers to quickly identify Laryngopharyngeal Reflux (LPR) as the underlying culprit in their pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with non-specific throat symptoms.
