RFMED Solutions has developed a wireless patient monitoring system that provides an efficient, cost effective way to monitor human movement and physical orientation. The system will enable health care facilities to monitor staff performance, related to patient turn care, and provide fall alerts (in development), thus reducing costs associated with pressure ulcers and falls. Additionally, it provides families peace of mind that their loved one is being properly cared for and improves the quality of care and limits the pain and suffering of thousands of individuals who often times don't have a voice.
