Patient Safety is our Priority. DOMA Surgical develops patient safety products for use in the operating room, with particular emphasis on laparoscopic and robotic da Vinci procedures. Our philosophy is to find unique solutions to common and not-so-common patient safety conditions facing the operating room staff, paying particular attention to surgeon and anesthesiology needs. The goal is eliminate patient complications and prevent injuries, in keeping with WHO and JCAHO published guidelines. We pride ourselves on product development from evidence based medicine and studies. Our first product is SavingEyes, an Intraoperative Patient Protective Eye Shield for use under general anesthesia, designed to protect the eyes and surrounding areas. The device is simple, intuitive, single use, latex free, non-flammable and low cost, allowing full view of and access to the patient's face.
