Plastic Optics and Light-Guides:Due to its excellent light transmission properties, optical plastic material are an excellent choice for design and production of light weight and often complicated optical shapes which are prohibitively expensive to produce in glass. Furthermore an inherent phenomenon named “Total Internal Reflection” allows us to produce plastic Light-Guides which contain and channel the light in a huge variety of optical designs.
Medical Phantoms:The technologies for medical imagery, had made unparalleled advances in recent years, accurate 3D images of our internal organs and ailments had become a medical standard. These complex imaging machines, which often utilize more then one imaging technology, and which are used by doctors to perform complicated surgical procedures, need accurate calibration procedures to deliver this high degree of imaging quality. Medical Phantoms are accurate complex targets, involving several substrates, which through repeatable, accurate and unvarying production, allow the imaging machine’s operators to accurately calibrate and maintain this high level of imaging accuracy.
LCD Enhancement:Standard off the shelf LCDs are delicate:due to their thin film construction they are highly prone to physical damage in harsh environments. For Defense, Aviation, Medical and Mobile application Scopustech had developed a technology for optically bonding various protective, optically enhanced, clear ITO heaters, EMI shielding or other tailor made filters, to enable the modification of standard LCDs for these specialized leading edge applications. Due to the complexity of these modifications, each LCD enhancement project is closely developed and tested with our clients and then produced to the highest available standards in our Clean Room facility.
