About Us Shakti Orthopaedic Industries (P) Ltd., was founded in the year 1989 and has since been developing and marketing Orthopedic implants and instruments in India and many countries of the world. Within a few years of its inception the company secured for itself a position of reliability and prominence as makers of high-quality products of international standards. Quality Assurance: In its constant endeavour to raise the manufacturing and administrative standards, the company employs a Quality Management System that conforms to ISO 13485:2016, and a manufacturing facility licensed by the Indian FDA (CDSCO) to manufacture orthopaedic implants. Product Standards: The orthopedic implants manufactured by us adhere to international standards like ASTM & ISO where applicable (ASTM F 543 for bone plates & ASTM F 382 for bone screws etc.) Each implant is tested at least twice, once during in-process inspection and again during final inspection before packing and labelling. It is through rigorous testing and quality checks at each stage that the company is able to maintain the quality and consistency it is known for. Raw Material Standards: The raw materials used for implants meet all international standards. For Steel implants raw material is used as per ISO 5832-1 and for unalloyed and alloyed Titanium ISO 5832-2/ASTM F67 and ISO 5832-3/ASTM F136 standards are followed respectively. Our instruments are manufactured from the best suitable magnetic or non-magnetic Stainless Steel. Wherever necessary we employ best practice anti-corrosion treatments to ensure the durability of our instruments.
