About
The startup Shenacell began its activities at the University of Tehran in the field of bio-microfluidics, focusing on the development of laboratory devices and blood test technologies, with a team composed of graduates from Amirkabir University and Tehran University. As the team expanded and strengthened its core technical and managerial foundation, it was selected in 2020 as the top team in the fourth round of the Nopa Program at the Converging Technologies Strategic Center (NBIC). In December 2020, Shenacell formalized its operations by registering as a company under the name Shenasaie Ofoq Salamat. Shortly after, in March 2021, the company received its knowledge-based certification. In 2021, the company took a major step forward by partnering with Pouyandegan Rah Sa'adat, one of the leading medical equipment manufacturers in the country. Currently, Shenacell is focused on developing a POCT (Point-of-Care Testing) device that measures hemoglobin concentration using only a single drop of blood.
