Simple Access Technologies

Simple Access Technologies™ is developing products that will vastly simplify the venipuncture procedure while reducing associated errors, complications, patient discomfort and inconvenience. Using a proprietary combination of proven technologies and automation expertise, we are developing a device that will safely, reliably, economically and with minimal pain, complications and trauma, access patient veins with the skill of an experienced phlebotomist. The procedure will be mostly patient administered, requiring only minimal supervision. Additionally, the device will use data communication/processing technology and novel specimen collection container handling mechanism to reduce long standing problems associated with pre and post procedure workflow. The core technology is a platform that is adaptable to a wide range of applications and settings for both blood removal (e.g. diagnostics, monitoring, banking...) and infusion (e.g. IV drugs, IVIG, IV starts...)
