Chronic wounds occur in about 1-2% of the world’s population. SIS WoundCare was formed to introduce its patented technology to the wound care industry. We aim to provide a low cost solution to those suffering from and caring for virtually any type of chronic or non healing wound.
The SIS is a machine learning algorithm driven, self-adaptive and multi-type electrical stimulation (electrotherapy) device. The device provides realtime and statistical monitoring of a patient’s wound or ulcer, and constantly self-adapts its output parameters to the stage of healing of the specific wound or ulcer to accelerate and enhance healing and closure.
The SIS device can also directly treat even serious wound infection via ultra precise microorganism-type-specific low intensity direct current.
The SIS electromedical technology is highly sophisticated but simple to use. Electrode pad positioning diagrams are easy to follow and can readily be adapted for use with conventional wound dressings; the SIS device automatically senses and self-adapts to the positioning of the pads relative to the wound.
