Its flagship product is a patented microtechnology device that isolates circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from blood samples in a single step. This technology preserves the integrity of these rare cells, which are essential for early cancer detection. SmartCatch aims to empower clinicians, researchers, and healthcare providers with accessible and user-friendly solutions that enhance cancer diagnosis and personalized treatment. The company has secured €3.2 million in seed funding to support the development and commercialization of its liquid biopsy solution.
