Soterius Au

Soterius Pty Ltd. is a Melbourne based deep technology startup company co-founded by Dr Chih Wei Teng and Dr Alasdair Wood, with the vision of a world that is protected against respiratory infection. In early 2019, in a time when the terms "social distancing" and "stage 4 lockdown restrictions" were yet to be heard of, the founders of Soterius observed inherent weaknesses in the world's ability to protect itself against respiratory infection. It was as if there was a time bomb about to go off at any moment. While most people thought the situation we painted wouldn't be that bad, Artesian and the Med Tech Actuator shared our concerns and backed a small trial of Soterius's technology and a market survey of 500 people across South East Asia. Both activities were successful.
