Spinal surgical planning involves many decisions for which the surgeon has not enough information, and for which the use of computer models might be helpful. In this context, our solution consists in assisting the surgeons to improve the surgical planning of the spine, using a biomechanical model. The focus of this technology consists in helping surgeons to rely on quantitative data of the patient, rather than just their experience and intuition, reducing the risk of surgical morbidity or a lifelong side effect.
