Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of morbidity despite improved vascular inventions. Current metallic drug eluting stents raise concerns that they forever prevent complete vascular repair by exposing the artery to chronic reactivity, limited reintervention and vessel rupture due to strut fracture. Polymeric stents (Permanent or Bioabsordable) seemed to be the ultimate solution to reduce long-term complications in patients. However traditional stent's manufacturing technologies are not able to produce polymeric stents that accomplish with the stent´s requirements. Our technology, Stereolithography 3D Tubular (ST3DT) for polymeric stents ensure its efficacy.
