Founded in 2016, Stethoscover™ was the brainchild of a cardiologist, Dr. Kenneth Fishberger. Dr. Fishberger knew the current practice of cleaning one’s stethoscope was ineffective and highly underutilized. He spent years researching bacterial presence on stethoscopes, which led to developing a quick and effortless protective barrier that does not negatively impact a physician, nurse, or healthcare worker’s normal workflow process.
