About Superior Optical:  Superior Optical was started by a decorated Vietnam Veteran in 1991 and is now among the top 10 largest independent wholesale labs in the United States.  Superior Optical is a full‐service lab that manufactures prescription eyeglasses in CR‐39®, glass, polycarbonate, Trivex and high‐index material with an in‐house coating system.  In addition to being a Varilux® and Transitions® distributor, Superior also produces Crizal® coatings in‐house.  The equipment at Superior is state of the art and computer‐linked, which allows the ability to turn out high volume and high‐quality products while tracking all work in process.  The lab uses VisionStar as its Lab Management System and all work passes a "3 point" inspection, which virtually eliminates "out of tolerance" products from being shipped.  Superior's in‐house digital lens processing technology combined with extensive optical wholesale experience assures customers that their work will be returned quickly and as close to perfect as humanly possible.
