What started in 1957 as a small, family-run pharmacy in Miami Beach is now a national leader in LTSS and supplies, as well as Florida's largest independent DME supplier. Today SurfMed remains dedicated to providing the highest-quality durable medical equipment and outstanding service to our customers. SurfMed is accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP) and meets their high standards of quality assurance. We are also Founders and Members of advocacy organizations such as the Florida Association of Medical Equipment Services, the Florida Alliance of Home Care Services (FAHCS), Pennsylvania Assocaiton of Medical Equipment Supplies, Accredited Medical Equipment Providers of America, AA Home Care and the VGM Group National Network of Homecare Providers, among others.
