Surgical Biologics is the leader in the development and manufacture of placental-based allografts, having produced and distributed more than 30,000 products for use in soft tissue repair procedures since its inception. There have been no adverse events reported with Surgical Biologics products. epiFix® begins with donated human placental tissue that is evaluated, screened and recovered using extensive acceptance and exclusion criteria in compliance with US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB) Standards, and state and local regulations as appropriate. Surgical Biologics is registered with the FDA and accredited by the AATB.
