Systol Dynamics designs and develops an innovative Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) that extends the benefits of mechanical circulatory support to less severe heart failure patients.
Uniquely positioned in the aorta by transcatheter implantation, the Systol Dynamics’s VAD is at one minimally-invasive, connected and removable. Unlike terminal solutions, bridge to transplant or destination therapy, it relieves the patient’s heart and enables physiological recovery, ultimately leading to cardiac pump removal.
Founded in 2018 by a cardiologist with more than 30 years of experience in the management of cardiac insufficiency, Systol Dynamics is managed by a team of experts in medical devices and supervised by a board of healthcare industry veterans. Currently in the design and simulation phase, the company is now in the process of raising series A funding to finance device prototyping and bench testing. Systol Dynamics is headquartered in Marseille, France.
