The Eye Care Alliance was started in 2009 as the first authorized reseller for Carl Zeiss Meditec pre-owned equipment. ECA quickly became known as the leading source of preowned Zeiss equipment and service repair, eventually adding equipment from other leading manufacturers into the mix. In 2016, the Eye Care Alliance was acquired by Walman Optical, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Walman is one of the longest standing and largest eye care companies in the world. ECA was a great match for Walman, long known for their customer-first approach to the eye care market. The Eye Care Alliance is based in the Raleigh/Durham, NC area. Our business includes working with leading dealers, brokers, and manufacturers, helping them offer trade-in alternatives for customers. ECA remains well known for their unique "high-touch" customer support and technical experience.
