The Foundation for the New England Medical Innovation Center (the NEMIC Foundation) is a not-for-profit Medical Technology Venture Studio located in downtown Providence, Rhode Island. The mission is to support entrepreneurs and accelerate startups in achieving their vision of impactful Med Tech solutions for the world’s health challenges. Ultimately, we help usher technologies to market that improve the experience of healthcare worldwide.
This is done through cutting-edge educational programming, events, and a collaborative innovation center. The NEMIC Foundation team has decades of combined medical device development and entrepreneurial experience, alongside an extensive network of expert advisors who can simplify clinical access, regulatory (FDA) strategy/pathways, and ultimately facilitate connections between early-stage startups and funding sources.
