Our tongue says a lot about our health. Lingual dysfunctions are a major cause of problems as diverse as chronic snoring, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), mouth breathing, malocclusion (misalignment of the teeth), bruxism (teeth grinding and jaw clenching), temporomandibular joint dysfunction and atypical swallowing.
Tongue Lab created the TRP (Tongue Right Positioner), a patented, oral medical device designed to reeducate the tongue and permanently restore its physiological functions, position and muscle tone. The TRP is worn on the upper teeth while we sleep for an average of six months only. By treating the lingual dysfunctions that cause sleep-breathing disorders and other health problems we live with day and night, the TRP is designed to do much more than alleviate symptoms. Focusing on the cause of these frequent health problems means striving to cure them. Lingual reeducation with the TRP is meant to do just that.
Clinical trials using the TRP are underway or will be launched soon to determine the scientific impact of the TRP as a cure for chronic snoring, OSA and sleep bruxism. Tongue Lab is currently working with dentists, orthodontists, sleep specialists, orofacial myofunctional therapists, and other healthcare professionals in Europe, the United States and Japan to bring the benefits of the TRP to as many people as possible worldwide.
At Tongue Lab our mission is to encourage people of all ages to awaken to their full potential and shoot for the stars. Lingual reeducation with the TRP can play an important role by improving breathing and the quality of sleep. Smiling with greater confidence can make a big difference too!
