TONUS - ETH Research Project

TONUS @ ETH Zurich: An interdisciplinary effort to build a cuffless, real-time blood-pressure measurement device. TONUS is a research project at ETH Zurich that aims to tack- le current issues with blood pressure measurement. We are developing a novel measurement method that is: continuous, more accurate and comfortable for the user. Concretely, we are developing a mock circulatory system on which we will test and validate three novel blood pressure measurement methods. Our fields of expertise span Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Health Sciences and Industrial Design.
