Founded in 2016, Vibrosonic GmbH is a pioneer in the field of medical technology focused on providing people with hearing impairment a close-to-normal hearing experience. Our core invention, the Vibrosonic Hearing Contact Lens®, is a micro-loudspeaker that is placed directly onto the eardrum, thereby stimulating the natural hearing process. The result is a broad sound spectrum, covering high frequencies for speech comprehension and low frequencies for a striking experience when listening to music for example. Our objective is to develop the first invisible hearing aid based on our core technology. The Hearing Contact Lens is the result of a research project between the University Hospital Tübingen, the Fraunhofer IPA, and other partners, originally directed at the development of an implant. Researchers and later founders of Vibrosonic found out that the Hearing Contact Lens can also be applied to non-implantable hearing solutions.
