About
We are a team of 8 Mechanical and Electrical Engineering students from ETH Zurich. Our goal for the next year is to change the way in which current shunt systems for treating the disease Hydrocephalus are designed. The team's inspiration is driven by a simple belief that, in the age of customised medicine, patients deserve nothing less than exactly that. It is this belief that drives us to bring treatment methods of Hydrocephalus into the 21st century. We want to revolutionise contemporary treatment by developing a Ventricular, Intelligent and Electromechanical shunt, our VIEshunt.
