ViFlex is a socially conscious, student-run company that is developing low-cost, adjustable eyeglasses for use in developing countries. Over 700 million people in developing countries need glasses and are unable to get them, resulting in over $200 billion in lost economic output annually. We are driven by the belief that everyone in the world should be able to access glasses that work for them.
Our glasses are made from decoupled parts that can be assembled by the wearer at their point of use, minimizing costs and maximizing the comfort and utility of the glasses. Our team includes over 20 MBAs, engineering students, and industrial design majors from Washington University, Duke, and Stanford.
